LUXOTTICA LIMITED WARRANTY
Luxottica sunglasses and optical frames combine outstanding design with exceptional quality. In addition to the standard legal warranty provided by retailers based on local laws, your product is covered by Luxottica’s Limited Manufacturer Warranty against manufacturing defects. If you are protected by consumer protection laws in your country of purchase or residence, this Limited Warranty adds to your existing rights without limiting or replacing them.
WARRANTY TERMS
Luxottica guarantees that your product is free from manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for 24 months from the date of purchase. For California purchases:
Products bought on or after July 1, 2023, are covered from the date of delivery instead of the purchase date.
This warranty does not cover:
- Scratches on sun lenses
- Damage due to accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper storage
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Normal wear and tear
- Prescription lenses
HOW TO SUBMIT A WARRANTY REQUEST
In Store Purchases
If you purchased your product in a store, please return to the original retailer within 24 months of purchase with proof of purchase (mandatory). The retailer will assess the issue and either repair or replace the defective frame or part.
If you cannot contact your retailer, submit a Service Request in our Aftersales Portal here. It is a simple process and takes just a few steps for our dedicated specialists to evaluate your request.
Online Purchases
If you purchased your product on Ray-Ban.com, you can submit a Service Request in our Aftersales Portal in just a few simple steps here.
If your claim qualifies under warranty, your product will be replaced with a new one. If the model is no longer available, you will receive a voucher for a replacement of equal value.
RAY-BAN META
Ray-Ban Meta Glasses have different warranty terms which can be verified here.

REPAIRS
For repairs, we recommend visiting the original retailer for assessment and the best possible assistance. If that’s not possible, submit a Service Request in our Aftersales Portal here.
HOW TO PURCHASE SPARE PARTS
At this link, you can find spare parts for your product.
After registering, click on “Buy Replacement Parts” and enter the model number of your frames.
You will then be able to view the available spare parts by selecting the correct model.
THE RAY-BAN PROTECTION PLAN
The Ray-Ban Protection Plan, in partnership with Asurion, offers additional coverage for your eyewear. This plan provides extra coverage beyond the standard warranty we provide. The Protection Plan can only be purchased at the time of your product purchase. It covers both non-prescription and prescription eyewear, allowing for a one-time replacement for a covered breakdown during the term of the plan with a co-pay.
