The View

Festival Overview

These Dundee-born rock-n-rollers have been hailed as the future of indie rock and they're certainly making a decent fist of it, with songs about week-long benders and tall tales of touring chaos. Their songs catalogue frustration and romance with a fizzy energy and good old-fashioned tunes – an early fan, Pete Doherty, liked what he heard and invited them to tour with Babyshambles in 2006. Their second album Which Bitch?, released earlier this year, sees them on typically effervescent and excitable form, surfing the hype as confidently as ever. We're looking forward to a raucous show at Ray-Ban Rooms.

'Which Bitch? confirms that the View are a band with a vibrant imagination and an abundance of ideas. For that reason alone, their return is very welcome' — The Observer

'The thick broth of Kyle Falconer's Scots vowels remain the signature sound--but don't let it distract you from some genuinely adventurous and witty indie guitar rock' — Uncut
