The Musical Differences, aka Rob Skipper and the Musical Differences, are ex-Holloways member Rob's new project. A chaotic folk-rock explosion featuring ukeleles and violins along with guitar and drums, the band came together last summer for a support slot with Vincent Vincent and the Villains. Since then they've been spotted hanging out with Rolling Stones grandee Ronnie Wood, who is apparently a big fan, and recorded in LA with one of Elvis Costello's producers. So they might be new, raucous, and as energetic as a large hadron collider, but they've already got the seal of approval from the rock hall of fame.
