Lazzy Lung, a solo project that has now turned into a 4 member rock outfit, oscillates between the Canadian and Lebanese Borders. The band released their debut album "Strange Places" in Lebanon. The album tells the story of a journeying 20-something traveling from one capital city to another, leaving behind all that he knew and loved. The story unfolds as most do, with twists and turns and changes of heart, great distances tearing lovers apart. The band was dubbed “Best Band” by Rolling Stone Magazine Middle East as well as recently won The 2011 Esquire Middle East Man at His Best/Musician Award. With such acclamation safely tucked away in their back pocket, Lazzy Lung is poised for something big. Influenced by groups like The Foo Fighters and Collective Soul, Lazzy Lung has maintained their artistic integrity and avoided being pigeon-holed into a rock and roll genre , with a dedicated and varied fan-base to prove it.
